Peanut Butter Cup Christmas Trees
Do you have a peanut butter lover or two in your family? These Christmas tree treats are sure to put a smile on their face!
Ingredients:
- Peanut Butter Cups (Miniatures and Mini Bites)
- Chocolate Chips
- Green Decorating Icing
- Multi-colored Nonpareils
- Yellow star sprinkles
First, "glue" each of the peanut butter cups together using icing. You need a mini bite peanut butter cup on the bottom, to act as the stump or tree stand. Then, add a miniature peanut butter cup to form the biggest part of the tree. Next, add another mini bite to that, slowly tapering to the top of the tree. Add a chocolate chip at the top and your tree is complete!
Now that you have a tree, it's time to decorate it! We chose to use green decorating icing to add garland, but you can use any color. Multi-colored nonpareils, those tiny round sprinkles, are the perfect ornaments on your peanut butter tree. Sprinkle them over the sticky icing garland.
Finally, just like a real Christmas tree, it's time for the topper! A star sprinkle perched on the top makes this treat ready to serve.
